This little box, perfect for storing tiny treasures was created by mixing traditional hand skills and digital technology in her Edinburgh studio. Kathryn creates a range of silverware which includes boxes and vessels that explore emerging surfaces and geometric forms. By using 3D printing and lost wax casting she explores different scales and surface texture. Objects are also realised using computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling with press forming.
