Adam’s work is greatly influenced by engineering, industry and product design; his sense of fun shines through as does his inherent ability to create tactile and functional objects which are a pleasure to use. His work takes strong inspiration from the natural world.
Adam’s internationally renowned work is designed meticulously with function and form at the forefront. He designs, develops and prototypes all his work before manufacturing everything himself in his workshop in Birmingham’s world famous Jewellery Quarter.
Adam trained at what was at the time Birmingham Polytechnic, he graduated with BA (Hons) in silversmithing in 1991.
He is the only external maker to have work selected for inclusion for display in the David Mellor shop and gallery at The Round Building in Hathersage in the Peak District.
commissions
Adam welcomes private commissions, he often works on commissions in collaboration with other makers to broaden the technical possibilities of a project. Contact us to discuss how Adam could help realise a special project for you.
“I create unique, luxury silver pieces for the dining table and modern home. My pieces are well designed, organic, yet engineered. They are beautiful but functional, eye-catching and in some cases, playful and compelling.”
