Miniature fractal vase - Kathryn Hinton
Kathryn mixes traditional hand skills and digital technology in her Edinburgh studio, creating a range of silverware which includes boxes and vessels that explore emerging surfaces and geometric forms. By using 3D printing and lost wax casting she explores different scales and surface texture. Objects are also realised using computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling with press forming. This delightful miniature vase makes me smile every time I see it - so small, yet such a pleasure to see!

Dimensions: 6cm x 2.8cm Weight: 42g
