luxurious… glamorous… practical

Silver as a material offers so many incredible opportunities - the textures, colours and finishes which can be seen here is a selection of the best of contemporary British silversmithing. Creativity and imagination are combined with heritage skills passed down for centuries to create exquisite, functional, modern objects for the home.

Our shop offers a selection of work from sixteen award winning British artisan makers, however the possibilities of what can be created are only limited by your imagination - our makers all welcome special commissions; creating unique objects to celebrate important life events and creating heirlooms of the future.

CRAFT BRITAINWe were absolutely delighted to work with Helen Chislett and David Linley on their luscious new book, CRAFT BRITAIN, having had a preview, we can confirm that it is a wonderful celebration of Britain’s rich culture of craft, with a dizzying array of talented and inspiring makers who are preserving, mastering and challenging our visual culture..

Silver, of course, features in the book with illustrations of works by Jessica Jue, Rebecca de Quin, James, Dougall, Alex O’Connor, Elizabeth Auriol Peers, Hal Messel and Ndidi Ekubia .

We are thrilled that silver is receiving the recognition it deserves, and to be in such fantastic company!

The book is launched this week, and is available through all good book sellers and makes an excellent Christmas gift for any collector or lover of craft.

(Craftmasters has no financial benefit from the book - so our review is pure enthusiasm!)
